I do not know about this situation. But if the reportage is correct, then Bishop Loverde is clearly the villain. We would need to do more digging to verify.

You forgot to ping steve0113 & me - we are in St. Mary parish, we know both Fr. Haley & Fr. Hamilton. I would take Fr. Haley's word over that of almost anyone, as I posted when this first broke a couple of months ago. Steve & I were saying this morning that maybe Bruskewitz would pick him up, like the quarterback you end up being sorry you traded away.

Dignity and
Courage websites indicates that Bishop Loverde does more to accommodate secular dissidents than to minister to the Catholic faithful.
