Bzzz. Wrong. He never called Khomeni 'good.' He called him 'pluralistic,' and he's right. The Wahhabis barely consider Shi'as Muslims, and usually define Sufis as unbelievers. The Wahabbis view themselves as purifiers, cleansing the Islamic world of practices they consider 'un-Islamic': visiting and praying at graves, Sufism, etc. The Shi'as allow a much more more diverse and pluralistic version of Islam than the Wahhabis--that's his point. It's like saying the Roman Catholics are at the opposite end of the spectrum from the Puritans.

Pluralistic is an implication that Khomeni is "good". Stalin was pluralistic, compared to Waahbist like Hitler.
You don't compare and contrast unless you are intending to imply one is better than the other. Marketing 101.
