A lot of radio and TV websites are using their own java pop-up media players for streaming audio/video these days. But you still have to have WMP, Real Player, or Quick Time installed on your system for them to work.

Yeah, but I'd rather just have a URL for my media page. You really don't know what those
Java players are doing under the covers, while they're flashing those advertisements at your
eyes.
