Actually, he doesn't. Morford writes for SFGate.com, which is the online version of the CHRON. None of his stuff appears in the print version, much less in any syndicated form.

Morford was hired mainly to lure alt-culture types and their disposable incomes to the (paid) print version. So far, this strategy seems to be a total failure, as the ultra-left local weeklies are as jam-packed as ever with their ad space for escort services and DUI attorneys, indicating a healthy readership among their target demographics. As for Morford, he's already been suspended for advocating child-adult sex in one column, and is probably one more mistake away from a day gig at Starbucks.

The man is a walking self-parody of a sneering, self-absorbed, angst-ridden Bay Area hipsterist. As the top poster observed, he's like a broad, cartoonish caricature of a postmodern left-liberal. Best to ignore him, and let his career and life collapse under its own weight of bluster and B.S.
