A big factor will be the integrity of the votes. FBI poll watchers in St. Louis may have prevented enough "irregularities" that our guy won. If they show up in NO, maybe they can stop the vans reputed to have "rolled" enough dopers and deviates to the polls in 2000, resulting in the Landrieu getting a seat in the Senate.

2000.... Landrieu was elected in 1996. LA has also added a picture ID requirement to vote now so that may help somewhat in reducing the proported fraud.
