I'm happy to hear you had the pleasure and honor of participating in the Welcome Home Parade. I can understand it being a very fond memory, one that will stay with you always.
It just saddens me that our Viet Nam vets weren't given these honors sooner. It caused a lot of unnecessary turmoil in their lives.

Good to see you Radu! I agree with you so much. But as with all things, it is never too late although so much damage was done to our society during the Vietnam era. Our vets got caught up in that firestorm and it should have never happened. They should have been able to come home expecting to be embraced and given the opportunity right away to assimilate back into society with honor and integrity. So many wanted to prevent that. It was truly a stain on the fabric of America. Thank you so much for all you do to turn that around today.
