Sorry about that. The original title was "Rumor: Pataki may be Bush's running mate in 2004".

Does that help?

you think Graham will retire? That would be a huge favor to the state!

I'm disappointed to see people being so testy with each other on this thread. You'd think it was the Dems who had the historic victory 72 hours ago. Let's leave the nasty intra-party bickering to them.

My own two cents says that W is, of course, a man of his word, and when he says Cheney will be his running mate, that is the end of the matter.

Of course if Cheney is unable to run, that's another thing. But even in such case, I agree with those who say the odds of W picking an ardent pro-choice running mate like Pataki = 0.

Even so, I'm not going to jump down the throat of those who have a different outlook.

Wrather than chastise the entire forum, why don't you direct your "disapointment" towards the author of this (now corrected) speciously titled post?

Certainly didn't mean to criticize the entire forum, just those involved in the fairly nasty back-and-forth. If there's ever been a time for us to be in a good mood, particularly among ourselves . . .

Imagine that, even after all that, FR still has standards.

I think we can all agree. Sometimes people on here get a little terrotorial and ruin it for everybody.
