As vaudine noted, make that a "Mexican" American.
The "La Raza" types hate both America and "Hispania" (Spain) with equal ferver. In fact, they hate the term "Hispanic" since it denotes Spain.
We of Cuban heritage trace our roots back to Hispania and have nothing in common with the La Raza crowd. We love America and, although we had our wars with the Mother Coutry just as the U.S. had it's wars with Britain, we have since reconciled and respect "La Madre Patria".
Let's start calling Mexicans Mexicans.
The La Raza crowd is the one that owns their hatred of America and Spain. They own their hatred of Western tradition. They are the ones who glorify their Aztec roots. Let the Mexicans, by themselves, take credit for their statements and their beliefs.
Let's leave the rest of us who trace our roots back to Spain out of this.

You're right. These sisters are Marxist Mexicans, they aren't Americans of Spanish descent who actually have a high rate of military service. It's important to distinguish between the people of the Southwest whose have Spanish ancestry often mixed with Indians of the SW and immigrant foreign groups hostile to the United States who hate the US Constitution for all they're worth.
I wonder do they know what kind of brutal culture the Aztecs were with its mass ritual human sacrifices.
