Boy, I am still enjoying watching the Dems cry about the elections. It's fun to watch them dumping Gephardt, to replace him with Nancy Pelosi.

Repeat after me, Dems: We lost the elections because we were not liberal enough! We lost the elections because we were not liberal enough! We lost the elections because we were not liberal enough!

I love it!

This is the most fun I`ve ever have had with my clothes on. The topper is that the Rats are moving to the left. They just don`t get it.What they don`t realize is that by moving left, they are going to rerally get it from the American people. HeHeHe

This is fun to watch! The RATs are moving left! Just what the doctor ordered -- for our side!

We used to use the variation of Don't Mess with Texas changing it to "Don't Mess with Bush" back during the election of 2000 right here on FR!

They still think they're centered, and all the rest of us are far right. They have no sense of direction in more ways than one.

cordial and confident General George W. Bush

the most dominant political figure America has known since FDR

President Bush has shown genuine leadership!

bypassing the network news departments who wished to effectively "censor" him.

the most historic shift in political power ever experienced by a sitting president at the midway point of his first term.

YYEESSS!

Maybe we have it all wrong. We are all excited because Bush is President and we picked up a few Republican Senators and House seats. Think how many we would have picked up if Al Gore was president, we still had 9/11 and Saddam was flexing his nuclear muscle.

Do any of you think about how close we came to having Al Gore running this country at this time of international crisis? It scares the be-jabbers out of me to think how things would be if Al was facing off the terrorists and Saddam right now.

I have thought about that many times since 9/11.
Thank God Bush is our President.

We wouldn't have picked up any because a *spit!* President Gore would have banned all guns and jailed any right-wing kook who demanded that the US defend herself after 9-11-01. Islam would be declared the official religion of the United States to show our enemies that our tolerance is our strength. The Republican Party would have been outlawed, along with the combustion engine, and tax rates on those making over $50,000 would be doubles so that those making under $50,000 could all be given $50,000... along with the $40,000 that every black (citizen or not) would have been paid in reperations.

Nobody wants to pick a fight with the toughest guy in the neighborhood.

An immensely popular and trusted president wisely chose to invest his political capital in those who would support his agenda. And by risking his popularity in the bold pursuit of a cause, he will likely advance it.

Tough and trusted........can't beat that combination! Sort of like Marshall Dillon! :o)

I LOVE this cowboy!

President Bush's number one strength is that he has the American people behind him. Those who choose to cross him politically need not fear him, They need to fear the American people and their willingness to support him with their LOUD voices and their votes.

George W. Bush has earned the support he has, from across party lines, across racial lines and all other lines because he has proven to be an honest and trustworthy man. He has gained the love of the American people because:

When we needed a leader, HE LED us

When we needed to mourn, HE MOURNED with us

When we needed to cry, HE CRIED with us

When we needed confidence, HE WAS CONFIDENT

This is why when he asked US for help in this election WE WERE THERE for HIM

God Bless President George W. Bush

It's great to know our country is in good hands again. Not since Ronald Reagan have I felt such trust in a President.

God Bless President George W. Bush.

Right on! We do have a "Commander in Chief" who is much more than the "commanderless in chief" that we had for the last eight years! Thank God he is crumbling by his "lame duck" walk as well as his talk to those demoncrats! Grassontop

I believe this mid-term election strategy was conceived on October 7th, the day that Bush wanted to address the American people on his position on Iraq.

Yoho has made a serious error here by assuming that Bush merely got pissed enough to decide to go out campaigning. It makes him doing things Clinton-style, at the drop of a hat (or snap of a thong).

It's obviously not true. Bush and Karl Rove played an important role in selecting a very fine slate of Republican candidates -- something that started last year.

Bush had already been appearing for candidates before that, and we can readily assume that the run-up to the election after 10/7 was also part of the plan.

Once you realize that Bush and his folks planned this, their victory becomes that much more important -- and frightening to the D's.
