This means serious bitch slapping between Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters. Excellent!

Ford comes across well. He's tough, he's black, and he's not as liberal as Pelosi. He'd be a better leader for them, young as he is. If the Democrats could get their heads out of their *sses for a minute, they would see this.

But, one can hope all the more for Pelosi. If she wins, then the party will be led further into electoral disaster. The Black Caucus will remember that the membership voted for a rich white chick to lead them farther into the wilderness, rather than listening to a sensible member of their own Caucus.
