The eastern empire of the RAT party in NC is beginning to crumble...with the election of the first Republicans to office in places like Jones and Camden Counties and Gorman's knockout of the Sodfather's Daughter in Craven/Pamlico, and many more, things are starting to roll down east.
When the east stops giving Dems huge majorities in statewide races, it's all over. The Republicans will win most everything. And we may not be that far away from that happening.
Watch for more seats on the Council of State to go GOP in '04, along with possibly the Governorship.
