I don't really know any libertarians that claim to be conservative. Usually it's the Dems who claim that libs are more conservative than Reps.

I guess it comes down to the definition of conservative.

Well the Conservative Republican Congress of 2001 did increase Farm Welfare and boosted funding for the Department of Education. These must be projects dear to the hearts of Conservatives because they vote for those who support such programs.

I'm seeing that Libertarians don't claim to be Conservatives. I find it difficult to understand why one of the complaints about Republicans is we aren't conservative enough, if you are Conservative, at all. Oh well, it doesn't matter. I do understand we have nothing in common and there is no common ground to reach across.
