---"Your claim that Sebilius is opposed to the death penalty is news to me and is, I suspect, wrong. Regardless, the law is on the books"---

I read about her being soft on crime and the death penalty
in an earlier thread and in the HUTCH NEWS I am looking for a link now and will get back to you on that.
When did the law mean anything to a liberal? all the law is to a liberal is an inconvenience a speed bump if you will.

---"Sebelius is no fool"---

Is Sebelius a liberal democrat? then by association she is a fool!!!

8 or 10 years to wait to put these two down is way to long for a Kansas budget that is in the red already.

Here's what I found from a Google search:

1994 HB 2578: Sebelius voted against the death penalty for capital murder and discretionary 40-year mandatory sentences for capital murder or premeditated murder.

Sebelius supports abortion rights and voted against the current Kansas capital punishment law in 1994. However, she said she would uphold the law if elected.
So if Sebelius sticks to what she said during the campaign, she won't stand in the way of any executions. I guess we will find out.
