The NEA is certainly left-wing. However, it has historically little role in the writing of science texts; most of these are written by science educators at th K-12 and college level. And scientists are (as a general rule) determinedly apolitical. Gould and Lewontin are exceptions, but if you think evolution is primarily about a few Marxist biologists, you're believing far too much creationsit propaganda.

Thanks for sharing your views!

I do not presume that a person is Marxist because they are evolutionist. I think it would be helpful to the discussion if, likewise, it were not presumed that intelligent design proponents are Christian.
