id be willing to bet that its FAR more than that. we're getting numbed to the reality ("a billion here, a billion there...."). surely, there's documentation somewhere re:the actual amount....and, does this figure include the nation-re-building of japan, and efforts to repair germany, east AND west?

I'm pretty sure it includes the Marshall Plan, which was about $10 billion. The foreign aid budget is loudly attacked, but seldom talked about in detail. It's a vanishingly small amount of money compared to the social welfare programs we pay for.

That amount does not even reflect the billions in war debts and reparations that other nations owed us that we never ever tried to collect. We could bankrupt France, Great Britain, Germany, Russia and Japan if we ever wanted to, but we are better than that. The world has a short memory. It's time for us, as conservatives to re-educate the American public about the last 60 years. So the mistakes of the liberals can be erased, and communists who supported mass murders like Stalin, namely W.E.B. DuBois, are properly expunged as a hero, and remembered as a villain, which is what he was.
