Poor, black, muslims associated with City of Seattle programs and particularly 'community outreach' ones (not to mention Seattle politicians like Sims and Gossett) seem to be a recurrent theme.

Sounds like it- muslim extremists, pit bulls in a cage, a run-down apartment complex, drugs, and the perp hiding under blankets in a closet while bravely letting his wife lie to the cops for him.

That combination doesn't fit the description of any other group.
