As busy a guy as Jeb is, it's nice that he took a minute to acknowledge all our efforts. I doubt if he really knows that the heck FR even is, though.
I agree. Also, Gov Bush is a smart guy - I bet he knows about FR, Joe. :)

Re: Your post #123.
FYI, the following is from Gov Bush's weekly e-newsletter, in the issue dated Nov. 30, 2002:
FL Gov Jeb Bush
WORKING TOGETHER
Governor Bush and Lt. Governor Brogan are thankful and encouraged by the opportunity to serve a second term. Working together over the last four years has made our state a better place to live. To continue the progress made we need your help. We need to evaluate how government can be more efficient and effective, and seek out new ideas and fresh approaches to governing.
As we move into a new chapter of leadership together I have announced a transition team and policy teams. Tom Petway of Jacksonville is serving as chair and David Griffin, Secretary of the Florida Lottery, is executive director. We have also announced the policy team leaders and the agency advisory teams. These dedicated Floridians will focus on our priorities - reading, diversifying Florida's economy and building Florida's families by renewing the spirit of community. The agency advisory teams will conduct an ongoing review of state government and state agencies and evaluate how we serve our fellow citizens and look for new and innovative ways to improve services.
You are key to the success of these teams. We welcome your thoughts and suggestions on how to build upon our success. Sharing your knowledge and insight will help our transition teams further shape our state goals, identify new faces that will bring fresh, innovative ideas to government and most importantly allow us to continually evaluate how the state government and state agencies serve the citizens of Florida. I encourage each of you to visit our web site at www.myflorida.com/transition or e-mail your constructive suggestions of how we can improve services to citizen@myflorida.com.
Thank you for your continued help in making a better Florida.

... A total of 370 elected Democrats have switched and become Republicans since Clinton was elected in November of 1992... Phone calls and a letter to the Democratic National Committee asking how many Republicans have switched to Democrat have won the reply, "We aren't counting." This reminds me of people who are losing at tennis asking, "We aren't really keeping score, are we?"...
