It will create an unbelievable bureaucracy that will have to support the management of this tax. Every business owner would still be the tax collector for the federal government and will at any time be at risk of having to deal with the extra scrutiny of a new version of the IRS.

As one example, think about the difficulties of collecting sales tax on illegal drugs.

Not many drug dealers are currently paying income taxes, so that's a wash.

Yeah, good point. I really would hate to lose all the tax money we get from the sell of illegal drugs.

Yeah...that's like the difficulties of collecting income taxes from illegal-drug dealers. In fact, there's not much difference, is there?
