Ms. Napolitano has no connection to the judge that appears on FoxNews. She was appointed as US attorney for Arizona by Clinton and was elected to Attorney General. She portrayed herself as a moderate, but she is truly a socialist. Thank God Arizona still has Republican majorities in its house and senate. Gridlock will be the rule around here for the next four years...

Salmon edged Napolitano 47.0 to 45.2 in Maricopa County, but Napolitano won Pima County 52-38.

Here's some info on our governor's race. See these numbers and and you can see that Pima County where I live is the liberal part of AZ-sigh.

But we re-elected Kolbe last night overwhelmingly and when they interviewed his opponent, Mary Judge Ryan, I was impressed by her deep, deep bitterness. It was not a pretty sight.

"We had the vote yesterday," Napolitano told The Republic. "I don't know why the last slug of Maricopa County votes would be all that different."

While conceding she is probably correct in her point, I find her choice of the term "slug" to refer to outstanding votes most curious.

If I remember correctly (I may need correction) she also spent a number of years trying to build a case against fomer governor Fife Symington.

You're right dm, gridlock for the next four years. Guess that's better than what she would really like to do.
