I find it hard to hate somebody just because he'd pull a different lever in a voting booth. When their lever-pulling results in policies that are destructive to me and my family, such as confiscatory taxes, infringments on my personal liberties, corruption, and general all-around Marxism, I find it incredibly easy to hate them. Their politics are based on envy and theft and I despise them.

Good response, and right on the money. There are more differences in conservatives and liberals than the fact that they pull different levers in voting booths; far more. Dims want what isnt theirs. And theyre more than willing to take it whatever the cost. Theyre also uniformly against the death penalty for violent, murderous criminals, yet are more than willing to murder innocent babies by the thousands, simply because they refuse to use birth control. To summarily excuse these atrocities under the guise of ideological differences is to be intellectually dishonest at best.
