Terry McAuliffe, who was responsible for producing a strong turnout, particularly by minorities. He didn't deliver and now will surely lose his job.Lose his job? The man should be in prison!
To: Trust but Verify
NO! NO! NO! NO!
Let's keep Terry right where he is!

You bet this jerk should be in prison. He pretty much stole $18,000,000 with his "capitalism" when he invested in Global Crossing (18,000% r.o.i. on an initial $100,000).
I on the other hand (and many more like me) lost nearly $3,000 in the crash and burn of GX.
By the way, that Clinton-lover Gary Winnick (former CEO of GX) should be McAuliffe's cell partner in prison - they already like to put on the golf course together.

Guys, guys, let's not bicker about this.
Throw him in prison and let him run the DNC from there.
Now you'll both get what you want.
To: Tennessean4Bush
Actually, his fall from power at the DNC might well facilitate bringing him to book for his misdeeds with Global Crossing, etc. Time for some republican district attorney or attorney general to make a reputuation ala Dewey fighting corruption!

The biggest loser of the night was and is the California taxpayer.
Complete Democrat sweep of all the top offices, including Superintendent of Public Instruction; if you knew just how f****d up the schools have become under Democrats you might understand how ludicrous this is to put yet another Democrat in this office.
(On a slightly off topic, I cannot believe the homeschoolers in this state allowed this guy to get elected...he will do all he can to rope us in to the classrooms.)

I only hope that the GOP Senators have enough sense to elect Senator Frist Majority Leader. If I have to listen to that slow talking, hair sprayed, pastey faced miserable Trent Lott through another Sunday morning talk show I will eat a bullet. Get rid of the lame wussie! Get someone with some cajones who can intelligently communicate the GOP position without putting people to sleep for pete's sake!

Since the strategy of not fighting Bush failed, liberals will now demand the party veer to the left, and moderates will try to block that trend.I disagree that it was the "not fighting" strategy that failed. I believe that it was the obstructionist policy in the senate that failed. People were able to easily see that it was a Rat bottleneck of pure partisan politics that has been the problem.

Clintonism is dead.
Hillary!ism is dead.
The Democratic Party will cast off McAulliffe and the Clintons like yesterday's garbage.
Unfortunately for the Republicans, this will make them a much more formidable party. If the Democrats dump the Clinonistas now, 2004 will be a very interesting year.

As long as Mr. and Mrs. Rapist are the informal leaders of the Dim Party, McAwful has a job.
On the other had, Friends of Bill usually end up dead or disgraced with a half million dollars in legal bills.
Wait--what am I thinking? McAwful is no different than the rest of the F.O.B.'s--he'll get the used toilet paper treatment shortly. I'm sure Mr. and Mrs. Rapist will find a way to make "Bill's best friend" take 100% of the blame for this.
To: Pokey78
Winner: The Green Party. They will reap the benefit of the Liberals disenchantment with the DNC leadership.

This is slightly off the subject of the election, but as I recall when the Republicans won in 1994 they introduced a rule in the house that after 8 years the chairmen of the house committes would be term limited. Does this mean that people like Bill Thomas(CA) of Ways and Means will be out?

Loser? Lautenberg, who is now faced with the prospect of being stuck in the minority for 6 long years. We should start a pool for when he quits. I'll bet he won't last 6 months.
