The Rev. Gill Ford, the NAACP regional director in Denver, said he heard about the display from the local NAACP branch. To many African-Americans, he said, a noose is especially repugnant, "It's going to be like the swastika to somebody who's been in a concentration camp.

Somebody should tell the Reverend that it isn't about race.

At least, that's what the prosecutor said. ;-)

Or does the Left get have a free political commercial about this, too?

I can just see it:

We can't tell you the names of the brothers, or why people might be mad at them, but we can assure you that the KKK lives in the South, or the Midwest, or wherever we need it to live."

The district attorney has been a good solder in this case by following orders not to charge these two animals with a hate-crime. But you can bet, if any of the victims involved refused to get on their knees in the football field and blast them with a hidden gun, the DA would be shedding crocodile tears, in front of his hand picked jury from the community, that a hate crime had been committed.

One thing I would like to know, however. Why hasn't America's leading righteous and upstanding for all civil rights group, the Anti Defecation League, been silent on this case? Why has the media, who have probably been getting letters by the thousands, demanding coverage of this case been silent? You know the answer...
