Ashcroft is in a VERY tough position. Think about his problems:

1) A terrorist cell in America blows something up, kills lots of people, and the LEFT/MEDIA beat the hell out of him for not "connecting the dots" and allowing these cells to operate in America.

2) He puts out a drag-net and either ties up potential terrorists in legal mumbo-jumbo or puts their a@@es on Gitmo with 3 hots and a stinky cot. Whatever happens, the LEFT/MEDIA beats the hell out of him for taking away the rights of foreigners and traitors

He is also taking away the rights of born in the USA citizens too. And he sweeps what ever he does not like under the rug. I Say keep the illegals and America haters out of the US and we would not need officials running arround telling us they need to take our American given rights in order to protect us.
