That RATS are claiming there are still over 2000 votes out there in Shannon County alone.

If there are, Johnson will pass Thune unless Davison County can deliver some votes for him. Currently, Johnson is leading Shannon County 91 - 9%.

how about Jennifer Dunn for senate next time around?

Would love to see that but am told that she isn't interested. George Nethercutt may be interested but I don't think a guy from the East side can take it state wide. The State GOP is looking at other options.

I work nights and kissed my wife before I left and said there is hope for this Nation. The funny thing is I have had a calm feel about this election in the last 24 hours. I have to say I am losing my patience with MN and SD however.

As I posted before, the reason SD voted for Bush but supports Daschle is that it is a small, poor state that needs power-players in both parties to get federal money.

I once made a list of all the popular music songs of the Reagan era I could remember that suggested nuclear holocaust was imminent (Nena's "99 Luftballons," Escape Club's "Wild Wild West," Queen's "Hammer To Fall," The Police's "Walking In Your Footsteps," Europe's "The Final Countdown," Don Henley's "End Of The Innocence," etc.) Some of the songs were pretty good, but they were all wrong.

Don't forget Frankie Goes To Hollywood's "Two Tribes"! Great video.

Daschle can try to woo Chafee, but his political stock took a rather big hit today, wouldn't you say? The anger, the infighting, the recriminations have not even yet begun.

In fact, the fight over the soul of the RATS will put Nelson-Miller-Hollings-Lieberman against Boxer-Kennedy-Levin-Harkin in a moment's notice. It won't be pretty, but it will be entertaining.

"Bipartisan" is the Democrat code word for Republicans being obliged to follow Democrat policy and take the blame for the subsequent failures.

Enough. Cry God for Harry, England and St. George. Wield the battle axe and drive it right into the leftists' pointy heads. Time to play smash mouth rugby and BURY the Democrats.

Regards, Ivan

my take on the pollsters is that scott rasmussen was MUCH more on top of this election than zogby was. heard him on hannity on monday, and he was far more positive for the elephants than zogby was.

How true. I just hope Lott learned his lesson last time he tried to be nice and what happened once the tables were turned.
