Sure beats '98 huh? I was fearful all day that this election would be a repeat of big hopes dashed.

I like this a lot better!

And I think the silly class size thing also squeaked by.

Of course, there's no way we can afford to pay for the crap people voted for

I have a suspicion that the next election, the FL legislators may decide to let the voters decide how to pay for those things, or allow them to impeach today's vote. That "class size" thingie alone will cost a big bundle.

Yes, I bet they were with him. He said they were in FL today. I'm so happy for that entire family.
I dunno about SD and MN... heck, we already know the governor's race in HAWAII.

12 Johnson precincts still out. 5 Thune precincts still out. Davison County has 14 still out but they have split evenly so far.

The big wild card is still those six Indian precincts that haven't reported in for Johnson yet.

The mom in tennis shoes, aka Senator Patty Murray, is an utter failure for her party. Disastrous, and I might add, well deserved.

See? It is impossible to work with Libertarians. You can't reason with the unreasonable. They are worse than Democrats, at times. Burns me up and costs people so much agony just to prove their 'point' whatever that is. God, give us strength.

Do you have a sense of the outstanding precincts and their relative D/R composition?

No, sorry, I called the race because I want to get some rest. :) The wife went to bed two hours ago. A 3 point lead is sleep-worthy.

Hey, where's Dick Morris? Haven't seen him on TV all night. Guess his prediction of a Democratic rollover didn't come true.

Frankly, once I heard Morris's prediction, I felt much more comfortable about the GOP's chances. The guy is always wrong!!

The libertarian in SD publically endorsed Thune and publically withdrew frm the race, about 3000 libertarians must have missed it though it seems or didn't care
