I think a few things should be clarified here, even though they confessed, Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Kharey Wise, Yusuf Salaam and Raymond Santana in trial all claimed that a mysterious stranger named "Tony" actually committed the rape. They claimed they did not know him, that he was hispanic, and he came along and took over. Its been revealed that Matias Reyes nickname is "Tony", his friends and family all call him Tony, even in interviews regarding his past. However, in his recent confession, he got details of the attack wrong, including what he used to strike the jogger. The scars and injuries she suffered show that his claim of what he used and how he knocked her unconcious can't be true. A theory that has come up, is that the kids attacked her, beat her senseless, were going to rape her, and that he came along and finished the job, either way, the kids knew to many details in there confessions to the police (confessions that were done with the parents watching and able to stop at anytime) while Reyes has the DNA match. Thats why these kids haven't been released, nothing is adding up exactley and all that is avalable is theories.

Thanks for the additioonal info, especially re "Tony=Matias Reyes." It remains to be seen, however, whether DA Morgenthau, a very PC guy, will stand up to the media and the black supremacists demanding the attackers get exonerated and a multimillion-dollar payday.
