Please explain how a name can be connected to a number when the ballot does not have the number on it. I've wondered about this also. Is there no way of verifying my vote and how it was counted? In my area .. you come in and give your name .. they look it up and then you have to sign your name which is then verified by a signature they of on record right there .. then another person places your name on a list and gives you a number that you then give to the person standing near the voting machine

That's what they do in Bucks County as well. My husband said that someone in his line was turned away. My guess is that they were improperly registered, if at all. The system works!
