German secret service anticipates major Al-Qaeda terror attack v
Berlin, Nov 5, IRNA -- The head of the German intelligence service (BND), August Hanning, warned on Tuesday of a major imminent Al-Qarda terror attack.
"The (Al-Qaeda) organization could try to prove its existence with such an attack," Hanning was quoted as saying on German television.
"If you look at the time sequences of previous attacks, the fear becomes in fact very concrete that we have to expect a new assault, especially one of a greater dimension," Hanning added.
According to the German foreign intelligence chief, Al-Qaeda terror leader Osama Bin Laden is still alive.
Germany became the logistical base for last year's September 11 kamikaze terror pilots.

Why did you alter the headline with the "(SS)?"

Having worked with the German military, I have confidence that these folks don't speak without knowing something - sure wish they would give more detail, but that hasn't been their way in my experience. Listen to the Israeli intel folks and the German intel folks. Fairly reliable!
The Israelis told us within days of 9/11, for example, about Sadam Hussein bankrolling the operation (the '93 attempt, too!)....

Perhaps the Germans should prevent all these terrorists from planning atacks in Hamburg apartments.

The German Greens and Reds will use this as an excuse to abandon the U.S.
"If we support the U.S., we become a target".

Well, that would be a fine howdoyado. Those Kruats sure think highly of themselves
(I ought to know, 3rd generation German American, parents learned English as teens, father's accent got him yanked off the boat in New Jersey bound for Europe in '43 and ended up in New Guinea and the Philipines. All later drafted Uncles were used as interpeters in Germany)
Somehow I feel that the a-rab islamists won't do too much damage to the city they hold in high esteem as the fount of past Jew-bashing (literal) and the birthplace of their favorite pastime, Jewish Genocide.

I don't envy the Krauts (although I do feel a tingle in my funny bone) - all the slamming of the U.S. and now they may fall prey to the disease. I bet they take many more casualties than necessary just to try to keep from eating crow...

Because I have a sick sense of humor.

This, of course, would hasten its financial collapse, as the presence and support of US military is a driver of economy and artificial suppressor of defense spending. Would kill the Greens and resurrect the extreme right/fascists. This is the history/tradition of the German people. There is no history of Greens/Reds.

Arnaud de Borchgrave has said many times that OBL is alive. I trust his judgement. Of course this was from day one was about oil. The Taliban all escaped & are now returning, the poppie fields are flourishing, the amount of wheat guaranteed the people has been reduced by 75% - in other words we made a mess out of this & YOU paid for it. Have a nice day.

The greens and the reds are the same thing.
And soviets (small "s") do have a history in Germany.

Nick Ashton of
SSAF is ahead of the curve. Germany was on his short list of expected targets about three weeks ago.

It's not a mess, read my posts/articles on the good things going on in Afghanistan. We have made a difference and will continue to do so.

I expect so. Because we consider Islamic terrorists our enemy, and because the left is soft on terrorism and opposed to fighting it, while the right wants to strike back, we make the mistake of thinking that Muslims will naturally want to attack the hard, conservative targets that threaten them and not the mushy liberal targets.
But Arab Muslims don't think that way. They hate all westerners and infidels. They despise the weak more than the strong. When they see weakness they go after it. And they hate the left more than the right, the atheists more than the Christians, because they hate (even if they indulge in) pornography, abortion, drugs, and the rest of the countercultural scene. The more decadent and "progressive," the more hateful it is to them.
