As far as I know, Eastwood is GOP and to the right of Ahhhnold. But the push for Ahhhnold will be strong for '06 so we may get him whether we like it or not.

In the meantime, who do we run against Barbara "the *itch" Boxer" in '04? Perhaps that's where Linda Chavez could come in. Bummer she didn't get the Bush cabinet spot because of that stupid scandal. Maybe Tom McClintock if he doesn't get the controller position.

The American Independent candidate appears to have made enough of a difference in this race. Why Ernest why?

Well, I really think Arnold would easily clean her clock. Again, although he is far too left for me, I really think his name recognition would prove an easy win.

It's sad to say, but McClintock or some other no-name (with the average CA voter) is not going to beat Boxer. Especially if they are another no-name white guy.

Look how much Gray Davis was hated & he still won by 5. To beat Boxer, we need a big name (like Arnold) or a very strong minority - probably Latino & a strong Latina would be even better.

I made it to the polls...in Idaho. Put Kempthorne and Craig back into office. Sorry to see Davis and Lockyer re-elected. The socialists get another 4 years to continue the destruction of CA. Davis has to live with the consequences of his prior mismanagement.

Has this been posted?

It has always been my understanding that Clint Eastwood is a conservative Republican. Am I wrong?
