FLORIDA VOTERS CLAIM MACHINES 'BROKEN', VOTED FOR MCBRIDE, MARKED IT AS AS BUSH
"I voted for McBride, but the machine counted it as Bush. It did this three times. The polling worker finally said, 'We have to reprogram this machine. Another person was having the same trouble while I was there.'"
So claimed a caller to Southern Florida's WQAM-AM and the highly-rated radio talkprogram NEIL ROGERS SHOW.
"I'll tell you right now, this election is fixed!" roared Rogers, who has been in the Miami-Ft. Lauderdale market for more than 30 years. "Based on a few early calls, it is going to be a wild, wild time!"
Touch-screen and other high-tech voting machines make their full-scale debut Tuesday.

This is a total scam to try and convince those poor, deluded minorities the rich republicans are trying to steal votes. And they will believe it, just like they did last time, despite all evidence to the contrary.
Exactly. Perception. This is a dishonest attemp to get out the black vote. This is a total dupe.

Agree. This is proof of why character counts in a free democratic republic. The RATS think that their lies, cheating and stealing are justified because their candidates will do "good" if they're elected by any means.
You know the Soviets used these arguments to justify their form of democracy.

Uh, they are supposed to. In our counties they do. It's their way of confirming their votes and if there is a problem then showing it to the poll worker. Sounds like the rats have found the ticket to their sabotage for this election. I guess this means Bill Gates is a demorat. He's sold the software secrets to the commiedems.

I've done my part. Last Wednesday my 92 year old father-in-law left Florida and moved in with us in Texas, so he didn't get to vote. He doesn't know the candidates or the issues anyway. A couple of years ago he said something about all of the politians being bought off by special intrest groups, corporations, or something like that. I was just trying to make conversation, and commented (in a very nice way) that "you must like John McCain, then." He said "John McCain? Who the hell is that? There's no such person." His tone implied that I had brought up someone obscure and irrelevant, or was making up a name of someone that didn't exist for the sole purpose of trying to embarrass him. Honestly, I thought McCain was common knowledge but if that was any indication of the breadth of knowledge of the elderly vote in Palm Beach County, I KNOW why they have such a huge problem following ballots.

Why did Drudge post this ? For all we know, this could be just be one or two voters. Drudge better not be creating a unnecesary controversy.

These must be the same idiots who can keep 50 bingo cards going at once as well as simultaneously conduct 12 instant messenger conversations with gradnchildren. You know, the same "senior citizen" discount shoppers who can figure the sales tax in their heads and know if the scanner at Target rounded the percentage coupon up by one-cent. These are the same ones who know the every real estate commission ever paid, the cost of the latest special platter from Denny's versus McDonald's, and which ATM and gas station across town will save you $.50.

I don't think the machine lets you vote three times. You see what your selection is and have the opportunity to change it. Apparently, they are claiming that they are attemtping to select the dem and it is lighting up the repub. Same claims made here in Dallas on the first day of early voting.

You can bet money it's Broward. The elections supervisor there has already been rebuked for taking machines home with her to "study" them. Yeah, right.Geez. Is that the one who, during the 2000 recount, instructed her people that if a ballot was in doubt to give it to Gore?

I hope drudge is not posting this for more hits on his website.
How is that suppose to work. You have to hit it to know it is there. Once you know it is there, you don't have to hit it again. What are you talking about?

He had a prior engagement, polishing his nobel prize, and having it fitted as a hood ornament.
