Unfortunately, you are correct. There is really little difference between the Dems(Bolsheviks) and the Pubbies(Mensheviks). They both stand for big govt and socialism. The rate of the destruction of our Republic is the only difference.

This is such an obviously bogus claim, oft asserted by Greens and Loonytarians alike. It's a wonder you kids don't just join the same fruity, paranoid team of delusional misfits.

There are only a few ways in which the two major parties are similar. The primary one, the one that seems to serve as blinders for hyper-political reactionaries such as those found festering in the ranks of the Loonytarian party, is the observation that both parties seem intent on growing the size of Government, albeit in different ways and and differing rates.

Beyond this, the list of stark contrasts between the parties is as long as my leg. And Loonytarians wonder why no sane person will give them the time of day. Kids, pull your heads out of the utopian clouds and deal with reality. Espousing pseudo-moralist rhetoric about 'freedom' and 'liberty' is totally meaningless if you lack the means to change the system, which the Loonytarian party clearly does.
