Voted for Bill Simon and the rest of the good guys.
No on all the bonds, yes on measures F and H to split Los Angeles. If anyone's wavering on those, feel free to freepmail me with questions.
I abstained on the judges and the local bonds since I'm simply not well enough informed to cast an intelligent vote.
Turnout was pretty light compared to the other locations people are mentioning. I got there at about 7:15 and the four booths were in use, plus two in line including myself. Out of there in about 10 minutes.
There was one obvious Republican (with an American flag shirt) and I couldn't identify the party affiliation of the others. With my rumpled absent-minded professor look, people probably thought I was a Democrat!

I went undercover in jeans, Hawaiian shirt and well-worn leather jacket. No goons anywhere near the polling place, though. I may go by there again today to see if they show up.
Need I say I voted straight Republican? No on all judges (except for the Deukmejian appointees), initiatives, (except for 48) and yes on F&H. I voted to call the new city "San Fernando Valley," but "Camelot" was tempting.
