I have a great story for you. When I was at VA in the 70's, I went to church with one of the law school deans. He told us that he had just been in a court room in Richmond where the person about to take the stand was asked where he went to law school. He answered The University. The person asking the questions said We know what university you mean, but please clarify it for the court. The judge intervened and said that in this state, there is only one "The University" and did not make the person further clarify the question.
