ZOGBY's FINAL NUMBERS- released to subscribers tonight 9:45 to Midnight
Zogby
Posted on 11/04/2002 6:18:19 PM PST by VAGOP
ZOGBY's final numbers (which include polling from tonight) will be made available to subscriber's only between 9:45 PM and Midnight. I am a subscriber and will update my fellow freepers ASAP after getting the latest numbers. I have listened to Zogby a lot today and he seems to be indicating a swing back to the Republicans after suprisingly poor republican numbers this weekend. One note, Zogby does internal polling for Sunnunu and will not release these numbers unless Sunnunu is up beyond the margin of error- something to look for. I was pessimistic this weekend but now believe- Repubs +1 if we hold Colorado.

Do you have a link for that?

I hope you are right, but I just don't feel that way. I just have a bad feeling there is going to be a high minority turn out. I hope to hell I am wrong, but we will see.

REports indicate high turnout expected in Dem St. Louis. It appears Dems may be motivated more than expected.....I am beginning to rethink a landslide prediction. We may pull out a squeaker and come out one seat ahead at best.

Nice to meet ya, fatguy. I'm in the northern burbs, just inside the northern end of the "Crook" County border, and will be out tomorrow with my pollwatcher credentials and cellphone and telephone number of the State Board of Elections on hand to report any electioneering or fraud I see (just like I did in the 1998 Senate campaign/election!!!).

Ah, yes, the "real, true conservatives." The purists. The malcontents. The Holier-than-thous.
At least we'll know who to blame when we're looking at Daschle 24/7...........LOL.

Zogby can't have it both ways...he needs to pick a winner and stick with it.<.i>Pollsters are not in the business of predicting. They are in the business of determining attitudes and direction of movements. Things change. Would you expect him to NOT change after Wellstone's death?

Trent "Gutless Wonder" Lott could be replaced by someone more partisan. I sure do hope so.

REports indicate high turnout expected in Dem St. LouisLOL, election day is the night of the living dead in St Louis, there is always a high turnout.
To: cinFLA
No, I'm not saying that he had to pick a winner over the weekend...it's just that he has been saying contradictory things on TV tonight...he needs to make a final prediction tonight so that people can judge the accuracy of his polling.

...But I don't think any state can compete with WA: Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray...oh yeah? - try Corzine and probably Lout-enberg.....

Good info. Thanks.
It doesn't jive with my memory...I had Zogby's last poll better than this did....but records are better than memories in most cases.
The average of polls and Zogby beat the margin of error. Rasmussen did't do well.
