If this is accurate, El Diablo D'Asshole oughta be packing because he'll be moving VERY shortly. Of course, I'm assuming that there's not 2 more Jumpin' Jim Jeffords types (a dangerous assumption because Leapin' Linc Chafee Dish already said he's bolting).

I hope those polls hold up nationwide. If we can get Landrieu in a runoff she is toast. Right now republican loyalties are split statewide because we have 3 good candidates in the race and all are real decent people. The only one that has a prayer of beating her is a woman, Suzanne Haik-Terrell. She has the backing of the RNC Senate Committee, she is leading the other 2 and like Landrieu she is from New Orleans. Six years ago a last minute influx of votes from a couple of New Orleans precincts gave Landrieu a controversal and wafer thin majority of 5,000 votes. It will be a vicious and nasty month long fight but I believe the prospects of beating Landrieu will energize Pubbies and Terrell can hold her own.
