There's two ways to look at this...no, Mondale hasn't falled on his face, but he's also doing nothing more than reading the Dem playbook, chapter and verse. Coleman is trying to come off as civil and gentlemanly and doing a great job while Mondale is trying to be combative. If Minnesotans like hearing the standard Dem attacks from a bitter man then they'll pick Mondale.
