The thing is, they don't appear to understand that their party has been hijacked by the weirdos & perverts in this country. The whole party platform is for immoral social reform. No Democrat has truly run on any economic reform platform AND DONE ANYTHING TO REMEDY WHAT THEY PROMISED in decades. Those promises are made as rhetoric to incite a riot to the ballot box in support of the Socialist candidates who will serve up the very immorality THEY want us to have.

Democrats in these United States need to have a revolution to take their party back from the Commie-Libs.

Actually, the most of them are older Americans who were snookered by the original fear monger, "Mr. We Have Nothing To Fear But Fear Itself". Sure they vote for anything labeled Democrat, but many of them aren't completely aware of what all is under the blanket with them.

Honestly, do you really believe Grandma & Grandpa, down on the farm, who've never set foot in the big city but vote Democrat because it's all they've ever known would condone the homosexuality and abortion on demand their party has embraced since hijacking the bus? I know some who have been so thoroughly confused by the snake oil salesmen in their own party that they think abortion is a REPUBLICAN platform plank!

Talk about faithfully buying into lies.

C'mon! I can't imagine any Democrap not having their instincts nagging at them like a gnawing rodent about the HomoFascists in elementary schools, for example. Call it denial on their part, if you wish, but don't act like they still get sunlight shipped in.

You only notice what affects you JoJo. Many FDR elderly Dems are so far removed from PTA meetings the predominant social problem of their day as parents of school kids was who got expelled for smoking in the restrooms and MAYBE what it was they were smoking. Segregation & bussing was likely the last fight they had with their local school boards.

I'm serious about how out of touch many of them are with just WHO the bad guys are with society's poisons. They still blame those greedy Republicans for trying to protect the varmints stealing their pensions & SSI (the oldest Dum scare tactic lies on the books), but the new world evils & perversions they never dealt with are more likely to be ignored as NON-Political rather than attributed to the Dummycraps of today.

The poor old timers who recall the Democrats as an honorable party still vote Demo on those memories. Recall that 40 years ago, their platform was as conservative as our GOP is today & THAT was called liberal. They just can't fathom that the party they belong to embraces such filth and perversion as it does today. It's sad, really, because they still buy into the scare tactics and lies in a "want to believe" their party wasn't stolen from them, but what can they do about it now that it's so far gone except close their eyes and step across to our party where they were told for eons all of the evil was?

I'll tell you how bad it is in this anecdote...It's like getting them to let go of the dead jackass they rode till socialism slowly poisoned it right out from under them...

I told my elderly aunt that she should support Shelly Moore Capito for Congress instead of Dummycrap James Humphreys. Humphreys is a lawyer who appears to know the West Virginia Democrats weaknesses perfectly. Scaring the elderly is nothing to this fat walrus. He'll tell old timers every spine tingling lie in the Dums handbook and put his arm around them & smile for pictures, knowing he's stolen their vote...I told my aunt how he's slandered Mrs. Capito with the most ridiculous fabrications and had her admitting he was a lying bastard...Then she turns around and says "Well, SHE'S no great thing either, they say she's going to raid social security".

"NOOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOO," I told her. "That lying sack of pig poop I just spent 5 minutes WARNING YOU about said that in his commercials & it's marinated in your brain...DON'T TRUST HIM!!!"

You can see what kind of frustration I have trying to deprogram her from her love affair with the "Klinton economy" lies Hitlery slings around.

Sad state of affairs, no pun intended. I got tired of doing my civic duty taking oldsters to the polls, because all they would do is vote democratic, proving their stupidity and out of touchness. You don't have to be a brain surgeon in todays world, to stay reasonably informed. How anyone with any sense of decency, honor, character, or belief in the Constitution of the United States of America, can still call themselves democrat proves conclusively just what they are.

TigersEye, this just goes to prove that the Dummycraps are a diverse party...VERY MUCH LIKE a terrorist organization.

They come from all walks of life (and perversions), yet rarely do they rub elbows with one another (except the militant ones who show up at every protest, each one carrying signs for THEIR cause, even if their cause isn't the one the rally is for).

Grandma and Grandpa SEE THEM on TV on the 6:00 News, but don't equate them with their old FDR Democrats because the liberal media rarely SAYS Democrat when refering to them.

Then, on election day, Grandma and Grandpa's votes for the Dummycrap candidate get washed in the same machine as the Dykes on Bikes votes out in San Francisco.

Well there's a great defense. He was a pure socialist who did his damndest to destroy the constitution and lied his ass off. He attempted to destroy and then rig the Supreme Court, failed in part but got his way and politicized it to this day in the end. I can only assume you were leaning to the absence of common sense, brains and sentience as your answer by the way you phrased things but if FDR is the hingepin of your defense then a complete lack of morals certainly comes into question.

You have to think the way Americans thought back from 1930 to 1945 and beyond to understand my meaning here. Absolutely, FDR had socialist agendas. To hear my Grandparents talk, many people thought of him as the greatest man since Jesus Christ himself (which disgusts me).Grandma and Grandpa never agreed with the man's politics, by the way. Both of my Grandfathers were Ministers and told me there was ample opposition to FDR's politics throughout the country. He did NOT have carte blanche to force social changes any more than the Klintons did.

While there WERE Republicans who would have done many of the same things that worked to get us out of the depression if given the chance, FDR and the Dums successfully manipulated public opinion against the GOP as being evil and greedy (only concerned with the filthy rich) and the mainstream "normally apolitical" population were swayed by their lies and deceptions. The perversions so widely accepted today would NEVER have been let out of the bag back then, however. Old timers today still don't want any part of them and still possess the scruples and backbone to stand for something and not be swayed to change and acceptance.

Back then, a handshake and a man's word was a contract...Today, anyone would be a fool to accept such a thing. There's a good reason for that and it all started with Dummycrap politics of that generation. The cookbook for all the worst of it was merely dragged out of mothballs and forced down our throats by Klinton and his ilk, proving people today can be as gullible as people back then.

WonderVixen, (Love that name. Oh, the fantasies. The FANTASIES! The sexism lawsuits…. sigh), I thought long and hard how to respond, but I can’t really say much more than TigersEye has. But I think of something I read several years ago, in a book about child abuse, a chapter about women who were molested when young. In most cases the mother on some level knew something was going on.

If you change the word "Democrat" to Nazi and reference the Holocaust specifically, it reads the same way.

Now, before you jump up and down, remember that (I think it was Gen. Patton) dragged in and forced the local citizens near Auschwitz to march around the camp and view all the bodies. He wanted them to see the destruction for which they were partly resonsible. The citizens said they had suspected what was going on when the wind would blow in the right direction, but simply ignored all the evidence of problems because the Nazis treated THEM well.

I too also happen to know the type of Democrats you are talking about. They are ignorant and REFUSE to accept that the party they love is corrupt, but the smell is there just the same, and they have to try hard to ignore the smell.

Being an adult girl, I'll readilly accept responsibility for what the name might inspire. Just do me a favor and don't post fantasies in open forum for everyone else to see or I'm betting we'd both be banned.
