I wonder if anyone bothered to consult Native Americans about this. They might tell a different story.
I've only run across one wolf in the wild. A large, but shaggy, mangy looking critter. It stayed about 30 or 40 feet away and just sort of stared at me. I had the distinct feeling that it was considering what I might taste like.

I live among many of the real Indian Native Americans who I am sure would be very disturbed about what is happening if they only knew. Unfortunately most are too addicted, etc..to find out. All the $$$ in grant money their government gets from our US govenment. (our money) doesn't go to help them. I believe that even their tribal government is being used as a pawn in this "rural cleansing", or people control thing they are doing.
