True, but even St. Thomas needed proof that Jesus in fact rose from the dead. Did that make him any less loved in the eyes of our Lord? Many early Christian converts were converted because of what their eyes saw -- miracles brought forth by Jesus and his disciples. Others saw the same miracles and did not believe -- they had no faith, even though their eyes saw.
