I heard that on Rush's show yesterday. Assuming it is true, he may as well have said it out loud to a Democrat crowd, they would have bowed down and worshiped him. Tax increases will bring us Utopia, dontcha know. It's just that us stupid conservatives don't understand.

Another goodie from the Mondale era: In a 1984 campaign debate, Mondale tried to use age as an issue with Ronald Reagan. Reagan fired back: "I promise not to use as a campaign issue my opponents youth and inexperience ....." Ha ha ha! Reagan won 49 of 50 states in that election.

Well, as Eleanor Ratcliff said on the Mclaughlin Group last night. "Cut taxes and you cut services"-Some liberals don't mind paying high taxes and actually think they are getting something for them.

Dems won't be offended by him saying they will be taxed.

But, they should be offended at the very condescending tone Mondale used here.
