Actually, security wasn't tight. I walked thru the door, picked up my name tag, etc., and walked straight to the photo room. Of course, the gal who saw me pick it up, knew me but not one ID was asked for. When we signed up to go, we were told we needed a photo ID to enter but no one asked for it. They DID ask for name, address, SS#, telephone #, birthdate, employer and position when they took our credit card information. I heard some people say they were checked but others weren't. For the most part, most people just walked right in. It bothered me a lot that they were so careless. I thought it was strange that they took our coats and purses, AFTER we had been looking at the First Lady for 5 minutes or more. They just took them just before taking our pics. Darn, had I wanted to, I could have already pulled a gun from my purse, emptied the chamber, reloaded and repeated it several times before they ever took my purse. I think the only reason they took our things was to save time. (i.e. we wouldn't have to take stuff off, lay it down and then pick it up again, taking up too much of her time.) Frankly, I was shocked.
