You gotta be shitting me. Mondale won't show for the debate but there's his effin corpse spouting off on a commercial. What a piece of dung.
To: Paul Atreides
yes, and his mug was shown on local tv going to Wellstone's campaign headquarters less than 30 minutes after word of the crash hit CNN
To: KeatsforFirstDog
Highlighting that Mondale did not show up. Good.
Star Tribune now asking if they would have voted the same way as Wellstone on the Iraq question. IP says "yes".
To: William McKinley
They can't bring Mondale out. He has no idea what's going on- seriously. He NEEDS a script written for him. His answer to every question is "I vote the same way Paul Welstone did."
He can't speak, either. It takes five minutes to say one word.
He seems really, really old.
I don't think he could make it another 6 years unless he takes it easy.
Democrats are going to hide him, and count on the sympathy vote. They can't take the chance of getting him out too much.
He's just a pawn. If he makes it through this election, I'll bet on Arkansaside within the year.

Yeah, I though someone would say something like "No, the empty chair's at a fundraiser instead".
To: William McKinley
Walter's senility has kicked in again and he is in the beauty shop next door to the studio sitting under a hair dryer wondering why so many women are in the debate.

word is that he will debate only once...on Monday night before the election
To: William McKinley
The Green ticket candiate is blind. Interesting.Physiologically AND politically.
To: KeatsforFirstDog
Just in time to lay some sort of a smelly turd (lie) about Coleman and then run.
To: William McKinley
Am I horrible? The Greenie said he wanted a "strengthened and revivified UN, out of the control of the US and Britain" and I just wanted to tip his chair over.
To: KeatsforFirstDog
I guess, what with Jimmah in the limelight, he thought he could grab some for himself. Do they actually think that people will look back on the Carter years with fondness?
To: William McKinley
Norm is looking pretty good :)

Empty chair visible?
An empty chair would be a better debator then Mondale anyway.....

The Red/Green guy also (well, suprise suprise!) thinks Wellstone voted correctly on Iraq.
Good. Fritz said he too would have voted that way. Hey antiwar one-issue voters, you have choices! he he he
Coleman- wants peace, thinks this was the way to get the UN to act, thinks that without this, Saddam would continue flouting UN resolutions. Thinks the path we took is the best path to peace.
Gun ownership question now.
To: hellinahandcart
Yeah, I though someone would say something like "No, the empty chair's at a fundraiser instead". The way I look at it is an 'empty chair' is very representative of Walter.

Gun question now...
To: johniegrad
Look for him to stand up there asking people to keep Wellstone alive, by voting for Mondull. It will be a shameless tugging at everyone's heartstrings.
To: KeatsforFirstDog
Yeah, he does. Unfortunately he sounds like he should be running against Hillary in New York than running in Minnesota. He must not be a native son.
To: KeatsforFirstDog
Tricomo really p!sses me off. Damn I hate the 'Green' party. What a freak.
