Ever read Carter's book Turning Point? Worth the read. There was a thread that talked about having him supervise the voting in Florida. I was the only one who thought it was a good idea. But then I was probable the only one who had read his book. After he was installed in office, they passed a law that you couldn't vote if you had been dead more than 3 years. I think safegarding our elections is actually the number one priority over everthing else.

Unless the law has been changed very recently, political parties in Texas name election judges or assistant election judges for election day, not early voting. Early voting clerks are 100% selected by the official in charge of elections. So if there is a problem before election day it is a problem by someone hired and supervised by the Democrat in charge of elections in Travis County, not some nameless Republican.
