Correct. Dual-boot configurations are marginal, because Microsoft has made it that way.

No, they're marginal because consumers only want and need a single OS.

So, alone, my hundreds of servers are not significant. But multiplied by the thousands of other VARs around the country, the numbers add up.

Tell you what. We'll keep an eye on the market over the next year and, when you're wrong, I expect you to be man enough to admit it.

I love how Microsofties love to ignore history when they make their lofty pronouncements.

Compaq sold their dual-boot kit with every server. Every one. Seems like there was a need and a want then.

Then Microsoft put a gun to their head and it stopped.

Sure. Provided that Microsoft actually complies with the ruling, which, based on their history, is highly doubtful.
