I find it sickening that Mondale puts on a rather "grandfatherly" visage for that baby when his presence in the Senate would only serve to kill so many other children, in the most violent, brutal manner imaginable.
God will come for people like Mondale. It may not be on our schedule, but He will come.

The other one was good, but the drool factor added this one would be priceless.

Mondale being old doesn't bother me. Old doesn't always necessarily equal "washed up": Uncle Ron showed you could be as advanced in wisdom and tenacity as you are in age.
I do object to Mondale being given instant respect because he is old, and thus being automatically labelled an "elder statesman" when he solely fits the "elder" part, but none of the "statesman". In reality he is a typical leftist fool, and there's no fool quite like an old fool. ;)
It's utterly stupid that the Democrats are recycling their candidates - first Lautenberg, now Mondale - who had both called it a day. Both deserve to lose. I think Mondale is the more likely loser; after all, that's where much of his experience lies.

It makes you wonder if the Democrats think these are the best they've got. I think they're trying to choose candidates who are so old that aggressive questioning of their stupidity will look like cruelty to the elderly.
