I live in Washington, and work in Greenville. I get the Washington Daily News (whose motto is 'one pulitzer is enough') and don't read the Greenville paper but I listen to the local talk radio shows and consider myself on top of the political scene and this is the first I have heard of the Sharpton visit.

I guess I am saying that it was not very well covered outside of the intended audiences, or else my wife saw the story in the paper and got rid of it before I could see it(she is one of the 'rats). I am glad to hear that my vote for congress-critter may not be a total waste for a change.
