99% of human behavior can be explained by hypocrisy

Ah, so you'd agree that adultery is wrong? Or are you going to hedge again?

Yes, you love and commit to yourself only. Very childlike.

I believe that MARRIAGE is wrong, and that adultery is inevitable.
To: MEGoody
Yes, you love and commit to yourself only. I am only answering your gross generalizations with more of same. When did this become about me? You dont have to agree with me, ya know? Find splendor in your denial.

Haha, my brother in arms in the Great War (of dating). Careful, brother.
Soon the Hillarys Lovely Legs and Howlins of the world will pounce upon us, calling us misogynists for DARING to speak an opinion without asking for female permission first.
You'd better watch it!

Please tell us more. Especially about the batteries. Good grief. LOL!

Sounds like it's more "in the jeans," than "in the genes."

Hah, hah, my thoughts exactly.

Well, BuddhaBoy, you need to know the person you are marrying. I would recommend a born-again, spirit filled Christian woman, mature in the faith, and probably you'd have a pretty good chance of getting a faithful woman. Of course, it helps if you treat her well and show respect, kindness, gentleness, etc., etc. Many people spend more time researching a car to buy than a bride to marry.
To: BuddhaBoy
Oh, sure. It's a great deal for women, especially those who have men who run around, drink, screw anything that moves, won't help around the house, won't help raise kids, spend their money on big toys like cars, snowmobiles, etc., etc. but not on their families. Oh, sure. Some deal.
To: Sloth
Good for you, Sloth. I wish you the very, very best.
To: BuddhaBoy
You sound like someone who was badly hurt by someone. If so, I'm sorry to hear that and hope you can find some healing. Having God in your marriage can help a great deal. Unfortunately, Christian marriages don't fare so well at times either. They could but people give up on each other too easily.
To: BuddhaBoy
WHY do you think marriage is wrong? When people commit themselves to making it work, it's the best thing humans have going for them. It does take work, you know. Marriage is not easy for two people who are brought up differently, have distinct and different personalities, likes, dislikes, etc. It's a job to fit together, and I don't mean sexually, but every other way. Some people don't want to be bothered. Then they should never get married.
To: sneakypete
Sneakypete, your anti-Christian bias is showing--again. Many of us take the Bible at its word, live by its precepts, and are happy and fulfilled people. Quit trying to lay a trip on Christians who believe in the Bible. It can't hurt you to join in the same.
To: Pete
The title of this article should be "Infidelity is in the 'jeans'". Seems to me infidelity isn't a problem of keeping it in the jeans.....
To: shrinkermd
Most sinful tendancies can probably be traced to genetic roots; its one of the consequences of the fall. But God also gave us the freedom to choose to give in to those tendancies or exercise self-control. I don't think He will accept the excuse "It was in my genes" on Judgement Day.

I wouldn't know. I don't need batteries. The small expenditure of calories is usually cost effective.
