90% of them were Dems the last time around, run and controlled by a Dem officer.

I mentioned this to my hubby a few days ago, and he said, "Whose fault was it that there were no Republicans there?" I had to stammer, "Uh, the Republicans'?"

I wonder if there are not enough Republicans to go around in these crooked counties if out-of-state observers are allowed? If so, I hope the elections in 2004 are already recruiting for these observer positions!

The Republicans offered to help, including Jeb Bush offered money and resources. The DEMOCRATS are to blame. I am certain it is posted on FR as its own thread, I don't have the link, buy I am certain without a doubt the Dems turned down help. That is one reason why the Feds are stepping in to watch their actions this time around.
