I have trouble with DNC sources high enough to know this turning and leaking this information. I would really like to see it confirmed by something more than an unnamed source.

They're a Washington news sourse that stays pretty close to what's going on in DC. They follow up on rumors and ask questions. They do their best. They're small. Sort of a Washington gossip type paper.

While I have no doubt that the pep rally was planned by democrats, I don't necessarily buy the quotes by unnamed sources in this story. They're capable of it, but why would they admit it in terms that make them look sleazy?
I'm always skeptical of unnamed sources.
