When I hear the phrases "non-gangsta-rap" and "anti-violence rap", I'm reminded of similar oxymorons like "white witches" or "Christian gays".

The whole genre is saturated with violence. It is synonomous with it.

I guess you aren't familiar with Christian Rap artist then are you? This group was not one of them but go into any Christian bookstore and you will find several of them and ALL of their lyrics are dedicated to uplifting Jesus.
